Admission Requirements
Admission is conditional on
- the successful completion of one of the following bachelor's programmes at the Faculty of Mechanical and Process Engineering at Hochschule Düsseldorf – University of Applied Sciences: Mechanical Engineering – Product Development, Mechanical Engineering –Production Technology, Energy and Environmental Technology, Environmental and Process Technology or
- a comparable bachelor's degree or Diplom
with a final overall grade of 2.5 (according to the German grading system) or better.
Alternatively, we accept an equivalent grade according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). In addition, you must provide proof of an English language proficiency of at least B2 level (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).

Application
Admission to the master's programme Mechanical Engineering is restricted. The programme starts in summer and winter semester. The application deadline is 15 January for summer semester and 15 July for winter semester of each year.
Graduates from German universities apply via our online application portal (in German only):
bewerbung.hs-duesseldorf.de.
The portal generally opens early or mid-November for summer semester admissions and early or mid-May for winter semester admissions. You cannot apply before the portal opens. You can only apply for the following semester, not a subsequent one.
