During the past 3.5 years, Till Biedermann has engaged in extensive research on wings, rotor blades and leading edge serrations. Amongst other things, he has made an important contribution to the development of low-noise and efficient ventilators.
Biedermann works at the HSD Institute of Sound and Vibration Engineering (ISAVE), where Prof. Dr.-Ing. Frank Kameier and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Becker-Schweitzer support him. Outside of HSD, he has conducted experiments at Brunel University London and BTU Cottbus. During his doctoral studies, Biedermann has published four journal articles and presented his results on numerous international conferences. The assessment ‘with distinction’ emphasises the quality of his dissertation.
Biedermann will continue his work at HSD in the context of a DFG research project. We would like to congratulate him on the milestone he achieved completing his dissertation and wish him the best of luck for his next research project!
